Does a Jr. have to have the full name of the father to be a Jr?

Yes.  My husband is a Jr and our son is the third. Same first, middle, and last name.

Actually no, just the first and last have to be the same. My aunt learned this with her son.

Technically yes. However my hubbys side of the family only passed down the first name to the firstborn son. They all had different middle names.
