The first time it's sort of difficult to find a position that works for the space. Front to front is hard unless you can lean away from him significantly, the angles just never worked for us. Haha. If nothing is working, from behind always works!

If you're on birth control, it should be okay. Condoms and water don't mix. It's also pretty dangerous if you're not in a safe position or if you're not on a sticky-mat.
