I would like to believe in heaven or hell but I'm a very realistic person and my opinion is that if there was a god, and he was as merciful as everybody says he is, then we wouldn't have such horrible things going on in this world. I've had too many bad things happen to me and that lost my faith. 
There is no proof there is a god but there is no proof that there isn't

I hope there is. I would be so pissed (and scared) at the end of my life if I started slipping into blackness instead of knowledge of all things. Lol what would be the point of life? Just like thanks man I watched the whole goddamn series of this tv show you better give me a good finale.

I'm Agnostic, I don't necessarily believe in a heaven or hell. I do believe in ghosts and spirits. On August 21st me, my mom, and my 4 year old son found my grandma dead on her bathroom floor. 2 days before we found her, she was on the phone with my mom talking about how she couldn't find George. George was her younger brother who died a very long time ago. My grandma said they were talking, and he asked her about her plants, and how she's been doing. My mom tried to tell her he died a long time ago, but, she kept saying she looked for him under the bed, in the basement, bathroom etc. My mom just said he knows where you live, and he'll find his way back.

The fact that there is a universe/world and colors and smells and love and hate and everything that you see, hear, smell, touch, is all because you are conscious. You are taking it all in. You are having an experience, memories, thoughts, feelings. Why? Why is it necessary that you be conscious and witness life? We could be bodies wandering around without consciousness. The fact that we are conscious and still don't know WHY, regardless of religious denominations, THERE IS SO MUCH MORE than what we see in the here and now. I definitely believe in there being something after death. Outside of the fact that I have faith and feeling that there is, logic tells me so too!
