What does giving birth actually feel like??

I think I've convinced myself that I don't want kids because I'm scared of giving birth and changing my body.

It is different for everyone. For me my first I was so scared I heard stories about it. But I stayed active walking everywhere and yes contractions do hurt, I felt the bad contractions but I handled it I don't know how. You could get medicine if it's to painful. I did it natural no problems. My second was way easier & faster, my friend had me literally walk up hills and do light workouts or pregnant yoga. And one night we walked up this hill I was tired n didn't have the energy and 5 hours later I was in labor already dilated and my water broke as soon as I layer in the hospital bed and 5-8 pushes my 2nd son came. It was way faster I was upset I didn't get rest for a hour he wanted to get out so fast. I did both my boys natural no meds I took the pain but it wasn't as bad ice chips help so much. But I'm nothing  having no more

I'm pregnant with my second (first was miscarriage) and I'm definitely nervous about labor but I see it like this, my sister did it, my mom did it, my cousin did it (she did it natural and she has a small tolerance for pain), and if all these ladies in my family can do it so can I. I never wanted kids but since turning 25 and finding my amazing bf that definitely changed (i'm 26 now and been with my bf 15 month's). Even tho pregnancy isn't either and neither is labor Im just looking forward to holding a sweet little baby in my arms and becoming a mom.

Giving birth was rough. I gave birth to both my kids without epidural and yes it sucked, but I don't remember the pain at all. I was in labor about 4 hours with my son, but I had been in the hospital for four days so they stopped my labor (I was only 32 weeks) until he decided he wanted to come. And with my daughter, it was 6-7 hours. But everyone says it will feel like you "just need to push" and it does...kinda like you're taking a big dump....gross I know but yeah lol. Everyone's experience is different and it's normal to be scared. I was terrified of labor then I did it and now I know what to expect.

Giving birth is the hardest thing I've ever gone through, but honestly the best thing. But honestly, I can't completely remember exactly what it felt like and you might not want to use me as an example because I was induced and that can increase the pain. Pressure. So much pressure. For me the worst was the "ring of fire"when the head is coming out, but that's only a short time (five minutes for me). While there is a lot of pain involved, the feeling of relief when the baby comes out is indescribable. Nothing in my life matches that. It's completely up to you, but rest assured, a woman's body is built for this and there are epidurals ;)
