Mucus plug?

My mucus plug came out today is that a sign of labor?

With my first pregnancy, I lost my plug about 5 weeks prior to delivery and again maybe two weeks prior, and they still had to induce at 41 weeks.

Could be but it can grow back too so it depends on if you have any other signs of labor. My mucus plug came out the morning I was in labor. I had contractions, loose bowels, pain radiating into my thighs, and my plug kept coming out in pieces every time I used the bathroom that morning (which was a lot!)
