Ovulating after coming off the birth control pill?

Just curious how many of you ovulated the first cycle after coming off of the birth control pill?  I finished my pack, had my period, and began testing for ovulation using OPKs.  Also I have been on the birth control pill for 10 years. . I am currently on cycle day 14 and still have not had a positive opk. I am two days into my fertile week. I'm thinking maybe I just won't ovulate this cycle?  😕. Yesterday I thought I felt some cramping on my right side, but my CM  has been non-existent and no positive opk. Am I out this month or should I keep testing using the OPKs?

Keep testing. You might not. But your cycle is going to be off for a few months so most wait till its evens itself out before conceiving to avoid frustration pike you are.

When I came off the pill after 15 years I thought I would be pregnant first go considering I'd avoided it like the plague for years.  I didn't know you could test for ovulation - and now I'm 2 periods down and on holidays. I've decided that I would just sex-it-up for the holiday and test if my period comes when I get home. I wouldn't get too stressed over it - but I've heard from friends that it takes a while to get your body back. Expect the period mood swings to be back too 😔

I was on the pill 19 years. I ovulated my first cycle, day 16. I use Clear Blue digital. I had 4 high fertility days then my peak day. My OB / GYN said it could take up to 6 months for me to ovulate since I'm 39 and was on the pill so long. I was very surprised it happened so soon.  No BFP though!  Hopefully cycle #2!!

I stopped taking my BCP almost two months ago and I still haven't ovulated. I was also on it for 10 years. My Obgyn told me it can take about 3 months for ovulation to start again.
