Baby spasms? Feels like a seizure!

I'm a little worried. Twice in the last week I have felt the baby kick, but it kicks like 20 times really fast. It looks and feels like the baby is having a seizure or something. Has anyone else had this? I'm going to ask my doctor at my appointment tomorrow but I wanted to check with you guys too!

I actually just had an appt today and I brought it up to my doctor because I get the feeling too, she said its either the baby having hiccups which occur closer than our hiccups do or it's just the baby shaking around to get comfortable! Hope this helps ease your mind :)

I have read about this and most common conclusion is uterine spasms.  Basically your uterus getting ready for birth. Fetal seizures are possible but unlikely.  Ask your Dr since he/she will know best.  Keep a log of it to show your dr.

I literally told my husband it feels like he's havinga seizure or something in there. I'm pretty sure it's hiccups and it's normally last for about 5 or 6 mins then he goes back to kicking and moving like normal.

I compare it to a fish tail flopping from side to side really fast. Sometimes I think he is kicking and flinging his arms around in there because I can see my stomach moving all over.

I have had this and talked to my doctor because I though the same thing! My doc said its normal and we just feel more, could be where your placenta is located. I saw it on and ultra sound and basically she was sucking her thumb it came out and she was shaking her hand trying to get it back
