Preeclampsia

So lately my blood pressure has been high. I have been sent to the hospital twice in the past three days due to high readings at my doctors appointments. My labs are okay and if I lay perfectly still in the hospital my blood pressure stays stable and they send me home. Today for the first time there was protein in my urine so I think it's barely effecting my body at this point. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this and if they would tell me their story. I'd love to know what to expect. I'm 36 weeks and I don't want them to say 'surprise we are taking the baby today' next week without mentally preparing. I'm not sure at what point they go ahead and deliver, or what criteria make it unsafe. TIA!
