My birthday was September 21

Well my bf said he got me something but its on lay a way at walmart, he said it's only 100.00 dollars, well he let it slip that its a ring and he's only been put a couple dollars on it to keep it from getting put back, well its been almost a month after my birthday, I have no proof that he has it on layaway and he's gotta paid 2 since then I'm kinda ifey about it, do y'all think there a ring or not?
