Group B strep...?

Anyone had that and still had healthy babies? I need to know...

Yep :) they just give you antibiotics through IV when in labour

Oh yeah, definitely. They just have to administer some meds through the IV during labor.

Yes had it with both my kids. I got the IV antibiotics with my first (she's now a healthy and active 2 year old) but with my second I got to the hospital at 9cm dilated and had him 45 mins after arriving at the hospital. They said since they had to break my water before he was born he should be fine. Had to stay in the hospital an extra day just to make sure he was ok. He's now 3 months old and no health problems.

I got the full dose of antibiotics threw the labor when I go into labor I head in a hr. After it starts cause I dilate to 6cm 1 hr in labor everytime I go in. They started the antibiotics right away. They were going to send me home cause I went in there laughing with my doula and the boys dad. My baby boy came out healthy and screaming 10 hrs of labor 30 mins of that was pushing.

Yup, and i was only at hospital for 2 hours before she was born so i didn't get enough antibiotics.

They gave her antibiotics and kept for a minimum 48 hr hold too.

Yep! I just got antibiotics in my IV every 4 hours. She's the happiest kid and REAL healthy.
