Told our direct family and few close friends but waiting to officially announce it after 1st tri.

Had 2 chemical pregnancies at 4 and 5 weeks.  My OB won't  see me until I'm about 9 weeks.  Thanksgiving I'll b 10 weeks.  We will tell everyone then with an ultrasound pic to help reassure me this is real.  Lol

I have an ultrasound at 8 weeks (7w1d now) and if all looks good we'll tell our parents and some close friends. We'll wait until the 2nd trimester for the rest.

Since we've lost 3 we're not telling anyone til 20 weeks. At that point we'll be shipping off 2 round "shields" to the 4 sets of godparents. 1 shield is painted with their family crest the other is painted with whatever they want the child to know about them. We're building a Viking long ship with "spears" for the bars of the crib. They'll be topped off with the shields.

We're not telling parents till 30-35 weeks as I have a terrible relationship with my parents and I'm only civil because Oma is alive and I can't find the heart to tell her about the atrocities committed. His parents, or rather his mom would call my mom, no idea why, they're not friendly.

Then at 35 weeks we'll post this on FB:

Today I feel comfortable admitting that I have caught a little parasite.* Its taken 10 years numerous traditional western therapies, and some non traditionals ones, and we missed ___ missing the carriages. We were trepidacious about saying whats happening because we weren't sure if it would take hold and stay put, that's why the announcement is so late. In ____ months I'm hoping it will expel itself, hopefully with out a  certain "C" section  surgery!! We're even thinking of taking it home dressed up in a little onesie and bonnet.

And no, we're not telling you what colour the onesie is!!!
