No way! Marriage is what you make of it. My hubby and I waited to have sex until we were married, which means LOTS of fun in that area, haha! But we also make a point to go on dates every month, despite being crazy busy (I have a 5yo from my previous marriage, and we started a new business together last year, AND he's in school full time). He randomly brings me flowers, and I randomly bring him candy (his equivalent). We leave little love notes for the other to find. We always end the day on good terms. We've been married for a year and a half now, and I'm due with our baby in less than 4 weeks. We still plan to go on dates, and when it just isn't possible, we'll have at-home dates. Romance is a CHOICE. It only ends when you stop choosing it.

It hasn't been for us. Our first wedding anniversary is next month and we've been through hell this year. My husband still surprises me with flowers brought or delivered to my school (I teach high school). Sometimes for no reason, but in the last two months he did it on the first day of school and on what should've been our daughter's due date. We lost her in February and he surprised me with memorial jewelry last month. It's really the little things though. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I'm disabled, so our romance comes in the form of decorating for Fall together or him painting my toenails. We take turns cooking for each other and laugh often. We wrote our own vows and repeat parts of them often. The last line in our ring exchange was "I will, with the help of God". When things get tense or we get annoyed, one of us says "ugh with the help of God" and we just laugh. I hit the jackpot with this man. It's all in who you choose and the attitude you decide to have every single day.

If marriage was the death of romance no one would be getting married any more.

Marriage is a serious commitment it's a decision you should make when you know you want to spend the rest of your life with someone. My husband and I bicker we don't fight we respect each other and I think that's the problem with a lot of marriages that don't work out there is a lack of respect and communication.

Marriage is more than just romance.. its something more. But it doesnt have to mean that romabce has to leave! You make time for the romance even if its once a month.

Absolutely not, but you do have to make an effort to keep the romance. Go on dates! Find special things to do for one another!

Ever since we got married our love has grown tremendously! I can't believe how much more I love my man now.

If you choose to let it be lol! As for my experience we fall more in love with one another as days pass. It takes work, commitment, understanding and patience oh boy lots a lots I patience lol!! We argue like any couple and we've had our dark moments BUT love wins every time.
