Hospital clothes?

I'm looking for advice/suggestions on what mamas wore in the hospital after giving birth. Also anything I wouldn't think to pack in my bag?

Maybe a robe.. And something loose and comfy.

Yoga pants and a nursing sports bra. That was after the delivery of course.

I stayed in the hospital gown becuase I was nursing and did a lot of skin to skin contact. It was just easier then normal clothes. Also, not sure if this is typical, but the nurses are always coming in and checking you ladie parts, bottom, and stomach. I had an infection right after birth and was supper swollen so maybe that's why...I don't know. I also brought flip flops for the bathroom be shower bad just to wear home also. Going home from the hospital, I just wore s velure suit and a nursing top.

I got some comfy gowns from Walmart that unbutton in the front . A nice comfy cute house coat . Some cute nonslip slippers .

I got a nursing gown/robe set at Kohls and packed yoga pants and some tshirts and nursing tank tops with a zip up Hoodie :)

I wore gowns and robes - I had a c-section so they were constantly checking my stomach. Pack a towel for showers - the ones they have are way too small

After I gave birth, I switched from the hospital gown to yoga pants and a loose shirt. I also brought moccasins/slippers because I hate not wearing shoes in a bathroom that's not move. I'd suggest wearing the gown for labor. There's so much checking going on that's it would've been a hassle to strip down each time. Plus labor is messy and you don't want to ruin your clothes.

I wore a nightgown. If you deliver vaginally, you won't probably want anything tight around your lower half. some girls wear sweats or loose shorts, though. :) good luck!

It was summer so I worse comfy shorts, sports bra, and a lose t shirt.. and house shoes...
