Took one today and its a faint test line does it mean im ovulating or close to ovulation?

Dont want to get my hopes up glow said to take one today so i did and this showed up my cycle is a 28-31 day cycle so i dont know when i ovulated all i no is that my period started on the 1st of this month and lasted till the 7th of this month
