Non stress test?

I'm 31 weeks 2 days.  Has anyone gone on for the non stress test? If you did what was it like? How far along were you?

I've been doing non stress test twice a week since 32 weeks (I'm 37w6d). They are simple. All you do is lay down on a bed, they hook one little paddle like monitor up to your stomach to listen to the baby's heartbeat and another paddle monitors any contractions you may have. So you just lay there with 2 monitors strapped to your stomach and listen to your baby's heartbeat. They watch to get your baby's baseline heart rate for that time and then see if baby has a few heart rate accelerations that moves the heart rate up over 15 beats per minute. That's considered a "reactive test" which is good. It shows baby is active and healthy. I find it pretty relaxing to just lay there and hear my baby move around and do his thing. The whole thing takes at minimum 20 minutes but it's usually closer to 40-60 minutes depending on if baby is sleeping or rolling away from the monitors etc.
