I want a baby but boyfriend doesn't..
Okay so I've been with my boyfriend for 3.5 years, live together for 1.5 and both have stable full time jobs and I'm also a student. I've wanted a baby for a while but he wants to wait a long long time.
He wants to get married first.. Which I like the idea of.. But he doesn't want to get engaged or let alone married for a good couple of years then wants a couple of years before we have a baby.
We've talked about this for ages and I just can't make him see things from my perspective. I completely understand everything he says and I've tried to think of solutions but he's not budging.
If he wants to get married first.. That 3-4years because he doesn't want to get married straight away and then wants a few years before we have children which is another 2-3 years. Which is what 5-7 years before we have any children. I am so maternal and broody I can't cope.
Have you ladies been through anything similar or have any ideas? I'm struggling here.
