I had a miscarriage last December where the baby was growing but then the heart stopped and then in September we found out I'm pregnant w/ our rainbow baby. On Monday we went for the first ultrasound and was supposed to be 7 weeks. Tech only saw a sac that measured 6 weeks. After talking to my doctor, he said I'm either earlier than I thought or have a blighted ovum but I won't find out until next Thursday when we go back for another ultrasound. My doctor said to keep hope and he wasn't too concerned yet that it's my second miscarriage. The only problem is...I am. Thyroid disorders are on both sides of my family and autoimmune diseases as well. My doctor said he could start me on progesterone and baby aspirin next pregnancy if this turns into a miscarriage and I'm fine with that but I also insisted on blood work done next week as well. I have no problem getting pregnant and has happened in first month that we've tried both times but I can't get the baby to stick. Anyone have a miscarriage and a blighted ovum and then find out something was wrong? I'm pretty healthy that I'm aware of, no PCOS, endometriosis, etc but I'm wondering if something else is going on. Any info would be appreciated ladies! 💜✨
