Should I go on the pill?

I'm 14 years old and have really bad acne. my period is also really irregular, and I never expect it. Is it ok for me to go on the pill or am I too young?

I voted no simply because I don't like birth control pills or anything of the sort that affects your hormones. There's other ways to help acne. But really it's up to you. Just make sure to research research research ! 😊

I would talk to your doctor about it for the irregular periods. Maybe a low dose one could help.
I went on birth control at 13 and when I went off of it at 19 I had a fair amount of health problems and my body quit ovulating for a while, so I would be careful about messing with it so young.

Actually I would try to get my hormones tested...those are both signs of pcos and thyroid type disorders...it simply could just be that you're young though. I wouldn't jump into taking the pill just because I don't think it's really good for your body.

You're not too young but I don't like the pill either. I dealt with & still deal with acne & irregular periods & I'm 20 now
