QUESTION??? About a baby kidneys

This is my first pregnancy and my doctor just told me that my child's kidneys are a developing a larger then usual.... What does this means? Should I be scared? Google is giving me all kinds of answers and said its common when you have a boy. Have any other mother been through this before? Will my baby be a healthy baby, and does it cause a disorder (down syndrome or anything else)?

My first had fluid in her kidneys, over the "safe" amount. It increased the risk for downsyndrome and there was a high chance she was going to need surgery after delivery. Turns out that she was perfectly healthy. The fluid decreased, and she had no ds. The most trouble we have is that she can get UTI'S easier and she fills up her diaper with urine a lot faster than most kids and it's slightly harder to potty train her. She's 2.5 years old..

This is just my experience with kidney problems Tho. If your OB or midwife is not worried about it then I wouldn't stress about it to much. And remember just bc there could be a chance of something, doesn't mean it will happen. :) Goodluck
