All he cares about
I was just talking to my baby's daddy ( we recently broke up) and he told me that he wants our son to play basketball and that when he gets old enough he's going to move him to the states (I live in Canada and he is in Europe playing professionally) so he can have a career.
Our boy isn't even born yet and I feel like he's already planning out his life and putting his education on the back burner. I have no problem with him playing basketball like his dad but I do have a problem forcing it on him and shipping him away during his teen years just we can "get rich" ( his words )
When I told him that no one would be living vicariously through him or forcing him to do anything he got really mad and said all of his kids would play ball and that's how it's gonna be.
What can I really do? He isn't even here yet & he's being crazy about this already.
