I want to cloth my first baby, but don't know anyone who has. Actually, I'm laughed at when I mention it to friends and family. But I know its cost efficient and better in the long run.

Before I get to crazy buying up cute designs, how many do I really need? Probably wash every 2-3 days. I've been looking at AIO and pockets mostly. Any recommended number of insterts or doublers to have on hand?

Next, what easily available and kinda cheap detergent is best to not need to strip them so often? I love Honest Co. brand stuff, and thought about using their detergent for the diapers. I've read it can be used for cloth, but would rather know from someone's experience!
