Scheduled c-section this Monday! Suggestions?

So I'm 38 weeks along with my first child. Since she is still breech and it looks like I have Polyhydramnios, they've scheduled the c-section for this Monday at noon! I can't believe I'll get to see my little girl so soon! 😍😊
Does anybody have any recommendations for c-sections in general?? Prep, recovery, what to expect, anything and everything! 😊

I'm scheduled for my 4th section this Thursday.  Use a pillow to hold against incision to help take some of pain/ pressure. Ask for pain meds before the pain gets too bad bc it was hard to move if I waited too long. Breathe and grit your teeth but in the end it is all worth it

Every time you have to sneeze, cough, laugh, sit up, stand up, throw up, or strain your abdomen in any way take a pillow and hold it against your stomach. It really helps. And walk as much as you can. But don't over do it either. Good luck mama. It'll be alright. :)

I was crazy nervous for my csection! I had to have an emergency one at 33 weeks! It's really not hat bad! To be honest, the spinal sucks! But the rest of it was rather simple! I had to stay in bed for 24 hours afterwards due to high blood pressure and a mag drip, but I walked as soon as I could. And walked myself around to the NICU multiple times during the night. I was only on high dose pain meds for 4 days, only ibuprofen after that till a week after. Was up walking all over the place only a couple days after surgery! Here I am almost 6 weeks pp and I can hardly tell I had surgery other than the occasional sore incision!!!

I have had 2 previous c-sections, one planned, one not.... First few days are tough, but getting up and walking when they tell you to does help, even though it hurts terribly... Make sure you have help if you can for the first few days home... Anything where you use your stomach muscles is difficult, but it is all only temporary! Good luck!! I have c-section #3 scheduled in 11 days!!
