Donor eggs fresh or frozen and why?

We are heading towards IVF with donor eggs. Question, fresh or frozen and why?  Anyone had any success. Or anyone with experience or knowledge, please share. Our insurance covers none of this.

We didn't do donor eggs, but were beginning to consider it and talked to the RE about it. My RE is one of the best in the country & I really trust his opinion.  
What he told me was:
Frozen can cost less & be a shorter wait.  If the frozen eggs survive the thaw, they're as good as fresh. Generally 90% of frozen eggs survive thawing, but sometimes it can be less.

If we'd done donor eggs, we likely would have used frozen eggs.

My donor egg was fertilised and frozen at 5 days. I had one transfer after the blastocyst was thawed for a day and it took immediately. I'm 31 weeks and will deliver at 37 weeks. Good luck momma! 👶🏻❤️

Hi. I don't think it matters whether fresh or frozen. My first attempt with IVF using donor eggs failed with one fresh embryo. Second IVF using remaining 2 frozen embryos worked. I just found out I'm pregnant a few days ago.
