Acts like shes starving?

Question

So shes a month and a half and she could finish a bottle but still shes acting like shes starving but not actually eat anymore if i make another bottle. Any ideas on what this could be? I googled this and all it pulled up was scenarios where the baby actually was still hungry which mine is not.

My babies are huge so others!! Sucking on their pacis, hands, and thumbs is comforting to them. And once they are done eating they are tired so they are relaxing themselves!! I let my twins "soothe" for about 15-20 minutes, they stop if they are just soothing or they continue and get fussy then I feed them more

The sucking reflex also is a way for babies to comfort themselves. I know that some people choose not to use a pacifier, but if you're open to the idea, it may help. My son did this for a while but once we gave him a pacifier he goes right to sleep with it.

I agree with the other poster about the soother. If your not opposed to them might be a good thing. My daughter is 8 days old and we've given her a soother since she was born because my son was a sucky kid and it turned out she is too so I'm glad I was prepared. Now we use it during diaper changes to distract her and once we've clarified she's not hungry anymore and just wants to suck on something.
