How far along are you?

I'm trying to figure out if I should calculate my estimated due date based off my last missed period or based off the day I ovulated? I have an average 32 day cycle so using my last missed period makes it look like I conceived before I actually ovulated. I don't see my dr until November 18th to confirm and check everything. So I know it could change based on how the baby is measuring but I didn't know what due date I should put in my pregnancy apps. Thoughts?

Doctors go by the first day of your last period.. And calculate it at 40 weeks later. 
Pregnancy REALLY only lasts 38 weeks...  (two weeks after the last period would have been when you ovulated) 
I'm really not sure why they calculate it that way. But they do. Hahaha

I'm just going by the date of my last period of a 34 day cycle. Making me 4 weeks today. It is so confusing and you won't really know till you see the Dr anyway. Congratulations!
