We heard our little cub's heart beat yesterday for the first time (12w2d).  I crashed into love.  We knew I was pregnant and saw the heart beating at week 7.  I thought hearing it would be similar.  But my mind is blown and I have such an intense feeling for this little being.  I imagine other soon-to-be moms felt the same?  I always thought, "I couldn't possibly love someone more than my husband, but I could love them just as equally." This is different.  It feels so, so different.  And now I'm starting to suspect that when my little bear is born, I'm going to be one protective mama who won't ever let go.
