Webster technique chiropractor question

Kristen
I am 35 weeks with a breech baby. I went to a chiropractor today to try the Webster technique. Since it was my first visit they did a whole consultation checking my spine and body etc. they didn't do any aligning or the Webster technique today. She went on about a problem I could have with my neck not be aligned right unrelated to pregnancy. I'm supossed to go back tomorrow and she said she will do an alignment then still won't do the Webster technique until the 3rd appointment. She was kind of ignoring that I was only there for my breech baby and she kept pushing we get my neck xrayed and work on that as well. I only have 5 weeks until the baby is here I'm not worried about a neck problem that isn't bothering me. Is this normal? Any other chiro I've been to has done something the first appointment and focused on what I needed done now

In the same boat as you. I actually saw a Webster Technique certified Chrio this morning and he worked on me. He also had a recent success story with a VBAC mom, which is what I will be.

I had the Webster technique done to adjust my pelvis throughout my pregnancy, and she did not adjust me at my first visit. I do not know a chiropractor that will only adjust where you ask, typically they are concerned about overall wellness and will check the entire spine.
