Would you let a neighbour borrow your WiFi for a few weeks?

He is having some money issues due to a back problem so can't work. I want to help but I'm worried.

My neighbour gave us his password when our wifi broke for a few weeks. It was really nice of him, and i really appreciated it. Why don't you just give it to him and then change the password if he uses it for too long?

My friend did this with her own Neigbour and it caused her issues. I would help anyone in need. But there has to be a limit. If you know the man and know the type of person he is then yes I would. But be careful. Depending on the plan you are in, you could go over and it will cost you. This is what happened my friend. And it continued for 3 years.

It depends how well you get on with him and know him for me, I once let a neighbour use my wifi for a month when they changed provider and lost all connection, it back fired badly and I found they're son had tried to hack into my computer and into my bank account (online banking) luckily I'd installed a lot of security and it got flagged. I have let another neighbour use it since but I knew them fully and trusted them x

Starbucks McDonald's any cellphone shop... No need to use or slow down your wifi. Now if it was Netflix or Hulu I get that I think all of nyc has my Netflix info.

Yes I would but I'm often too nice for my own good. Just change your password in a few weeks give him time to do online apps ect everything is online now. Even tell him suggested sites like indeed, snagajob, and craigslist.
