Wisdom tooth

I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth out and found out I was pregnant. I figured it was no big deal and I'd wait till after the baby was born. The only issue is my top right tooth is coming in and it's cutting into my bottom gum. Making it terribly painful especially when I eat. Has anyone had a tooth removed during pregnancy? I'm still in the first trimester. I'm waiting for the oral surgeon to open so I can call them.
