Anyone else get sore where the tech pushes down for a long ultrasound?

If so, how long did the pain last? I had my anatomy scan today and it took an hour because the baby was sleeping and wouldn't move. She pushed so hard to try to see things that I am so sore! Normal? Thank you!

Mine did the same at my anatomy scan. She was very rude, barely looked at the face and didn't give me any pictures. I had my husband and very excited 9 year old only child with and it just sucked for us all. That was my only ultrasound too so I won't have a picture of him at all which I'm surprisingly upset about.

That's not normal on the techs end. They should be aware of how things move during pregnancy and should be aware of any pain they're putting you in.

My tech pushed hard to get him to move into the position she needed. The soreness went say in 2 or 3 days

Idk if it's normal but I went in for a 3D ultrasound weeks ago and they kept beating my bump @_@ I was so sore afterwards.. My doctor wasn't ng careful when using the Doppler either.. It felt like she was trying to move my uterus somewhere else :)) My colleague who also recently had a 3D/4D ultrasound done also complained of how sore she was after they kept beating her tummy during the whole session.. So yeah It seems pretty normal, not sure if it's safe but so far so good so I guess it's alright

I wouldn't say normal, she should not have pushed so hard that it left you sore. During my ultrasounds there were some "uncomfrotable" moments when they were pushing a little too hard but I let them know as they told me to do so and then they were careful to be gentle after that.
