Have no idea about twins but agree that it's terrible the tech didn't tell you anything, how rude is that!
Have they sent results to your doctor? Or call the place up and check?

I don't think it's twins as its so far apart. It could be your left ovary. I know my obgyn measured and looked at my ovaries when I went for my first scan just to make sure I had no cysts and it looked like that on the screen. Or could be a bleed in your uterus (not to scare you sorry), it shows up as a dark patch like that I think. However saying all that I'm no ultrasound tech or a professional lol so please feel free to ignore me lol. Have another tech look at the pictures and see what they say.
