Hand pain?

Question

So for the past few weeks my hand has been killing me at the part where the thumb conects to the hand on both hands. Talked to my doctor and she said carpel tunnel is common at the end of pregnancy. Has anyone else heard of this? And any idea of what I can do to ease the pain, I can't really use my hands right.

I am experiencing this with my left hand, but it's not carpal tunnel. My muscle that makes my thumb move is so swollen that I can feel it pop over my wrist bone. It gets stuck there sometimes and it hurts like hell to pop it back over, but unfortunately I can't use it if I don't and it hurts worse if I leave it there. It's been worse these last few days where it hurts to even grab the easiest thing (and it hurts right now while typing this)! And to make matters worse, I cut my other thumb on a box of sodas yesterday, so that is not usable and actually just as painful. I'm thumbless! 😭😫

Yeah I have it really bad. I ice my hand before bed, and then wear compression gloves and a brace while I sleep. They're still numb throughout the day, but they're not as sore.

Yes I've been going through that as well. It gets worse at night!! My doctor told me to start wearing a hand brace and it's been helping me!

That happened to me on my right hand and then my left hurt after he was born. It seems to be going away though
