People's reaction to skinny girls?

I've noticed that whenever a skinny girl posts a picture more & more people comment on it saying that she is "promoting unhealthy body image". People who advocate for healthy body image & believe that women should be confident & love their bodies are the ones blaming skinny girls for being skinny. I don't quite get the logic behind it.
Isn't it hypocritical?

Haven't seen this, honestly. When a girl posts a photo I see lots of women telling her how good she looks, regardless of her size.

I'm 25, weigh 98 pounds and have since I was about 15. I eat EVERYTHING in sight and have never been able to gain weight. I've been called anorexic so many times I've lost count. It's absolutely ridiculous for people to expect anything different from a woman than her actual body type. This perpetuates unhealthy stigmas about both skinny and thick girls. Love the skin your in and tell everyone else they can suck it.

Growing up, I was very thin. I was very self conscious because people always made comments about how I needed to eat more & that I looked like a twig, etc. It was very hard on me. But the thing is that I ate plenty, I was just VERY active & also a little taller than average. When I was 15-16, I finally filled out and felt more comfortable with myself. But I hate that other people made me feel so bad, especially when I was so young. It definitely goes both ways. You can't fat shame OR skinny shame.

Exactly. Some people are just born with a thin frame. I guess because i literally eat any and everything i want. I eat all day and don't gain a pound. So how is it an unhealthy image. This is the way i was born. As long as u not sickly looking or suffering from an eating disorder. I don't see a problem wit being skinny. I love my small frame.
