Red wine??

I've been told a small glass of red wine is OK after the entering the second trimester is that true?

Some docs say it's ok, some say no.  There is no research to back up either side and no one knows how much will cause fetal alcohol syndrome.  In my opinion, it isn't worth the risk.

I just red a new study that says no amount is safe. I dont drink but if I did I wouldnt risk it. But there are many studies and they all say something diffrent. Personally I dont think its worth the risk.

I have heard different sides but my mother who is a L&D nurse highly advises no alcohol whatsoever. My sister in law couldn't give up cigarettes and took a few puffs during her first pregnancy and had a miscarriage. Just a few puffs. I hate to think that is the reason why she lost her baby. Better to be extremely safe than sorry
