Pulmonary embolism question
So I had my regular ob appt today and expressed how I have been having shortness of breath and dizziness more lately. When my heart rate was checked it was high so I was advised to go to ER to be checked. While there I was given a chest X-ray and a nuclear lung perfusion scan to check for any possible blood clots and everyone was well aware of me being pregnant and expressed that the radiation levels were very low. Well thank God everything turned out to be ok and results were normal but now it just bothers me that baby had to be exposed to any radiation at all. I am 28w and 4d and was just wondering if anyone else had any of these procedures done as like I said I guess I just am a little bothered now about the radiation exposure even if it was low. Thanks!
