Anyone pregnant with Crohn's?

My Crohn's didn't get active or discovered till after the birth of my 1st I'm only 4w3d now and very nervous about the next 9 months. Could use some advice. Any tips or stories would be helpful. I'm not on any meds so I'm praying all goes well

I've had Crohns since 14 and I'm now 37, I have one son, pregnancy was great post was a disaster. Now I'm pregnant with second ,  no symptoms of crohn's so far, I would say get a high risk OB doctor and a GI who are experienced with auto immune diseases and who are mindful of the effects of the meds in your baby.

I wasnt officially diagnosed until after my first miscarriage.  I am in a study in houston medical center regarding crohns bring closely linked and worsened during your cycle.  I'm on remicade which is a category b. I see a gi that specializes in ob patients. My symptoms actually get much better during pregnancy.

I have crohns which since of May last year I'm finally in remission with the help of Remicade. I will be stoping my 8 week injections in April just before I hit my third trimester as to give my baby a better immune system when they come into this world but I am freaking out about not having my Remicade. I would so rather my baby be safe and me be in discomfort for a few months. I also have uncontrollable arthritis my RA isn't sure what's going on as she diagnosed me with crohns related arthritis but since my crohns got put in remission my arthritis is getting worse :( 
Is anyone else like me at all??

I have had Crohn's through all my pregnancies (this will be my third). I am 34 w and 2 d now. It actually hasn't been as horrible while I've been pregnant but I won't lie to you-afterward it flared to an extreme both times. They took me off my Humira for the duration of my pregnancy and I start immediately following birth again. They're allowing me to take my bentyl as needed as it does no harm to my baby. I've had a few flares during my pregnancy, but nothing like when I'm not pregnant. (Maybe that's why my body keeps letting my hub get me pregnant, haha). I'm 26 and have a few other health issues such as asthma and SVT (but did not develop SVT until 25w pregnant this time around). My babies are both healthy (and this little girl seems to be). I will tell you if you can make it through a flare-just one-without medication... (Which sucks, been there) you can make it through labor just fine. It sucks but it is more temporary pain than we Crohnies are used to.

I dont have crohns but I do have gastroparesis and ibs-c. Morning sickness on top of GI issues has not been fun. I am praying it gets better. Are you having morning sickness? How are you managing it?

I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant with Crohn's (and Rheumatoid Athritis, too). My Crohn's symptoms haven't been too bad at all. The worst was when i would get sick in my 1st trimester because my bowels were moving too slow, which caused a lot of acid reflux. Oh, and fatigue has been my biggest nemesis. My GI (and perinatologist) are strongly encouraging me to stay on my current biologic (Simponi) to avoid/lessen a flare. My GI has had past patients who have flared quite badly in the 3rd trimester, so he wants me to not stop the biologic at all (the normal route is to stop around 28-30 weeks). This means I can't breastfeed, but if I can avoid a really bad flare and another med switch (I'm running out of options in that department), I'll do it. Congratulations and good luck!!

I have Crohns too!  I'm on Cimzia, it's a safe injection to be on while pregnant.  How are you feeling?
