Spotting while on progesterone?

Hey ladies! I have been TTC for a while, the doctor put me on progesterone and I have missed a few days of taking it. I noticed some spotting this morning with cramps in my side and a few cramps in my tummy. Today is my 7th day with a blinking smiley face on clear blue advance digital test so "high fertility". I have NEVER spotted before on my period and its was too early for my next period. HELP!!!
