Long Distance Co-parenting

So my pregnancy was not a planned one and her father lives in Hawaii, I live in New York. We are no longer a couple and neither of us is interested in moving to where the other is. I'm not sure if it's partially my hormones or what but one day I'll be fine with him not being around but other days it makes me so mad! He wants me to send our daughter there for the summer every year but to me that will not be happening any time remotely soon. He says I'm being unreasonable but to me I think he should come to her not me trying to figure out how to get her there, am I wrong for having that thought process??
