How do u know when u lose your mucus plug?

I'm 25+4 and I just used the restroom. A long string of yellow mucus stuff was in the toilet . I didn't know until I looked down. What is it? I'm kinda freaking out. The baby is kicking still and I don't feel diff but when I looked up mucus plug pics it looked like mine. Was it just discharge maybe?

You can lose your plug at any point in your pregnancy. No worries though, It grows back! Some people lose them, some people don't. I didn't lose mine until labor.

I'm only 19 weeks and I get this from time to time. It seems like it happens the day after hubby and I do the deed for some reason.

Could be part of your plug but they grow back. I lost mine at 30 weeks

Not everyone experiences that. I never saw my mucus plug with two natural births.

I have been loosing bits of mine for weeks now and it looks like how you've described. It's normal for some woman to loose bits of it throughout as it can regenerate x

It could've been your plug and I have read that it te grows itself thought out pregnancy. When I had both my kids I didn't lose it enough to notice until about a day before I went into labor. But yes I have read it will te grow :-)
