Another baby shower?

I really don't want another baby shower. I'm only 8 weeks along and I am dreading it. Haven't discussed it with anyone but at my first shower for my son, there was family drama and it really was a downer. Plus we have everything we need from the first pregnancy and don't feel it's important for any more gifts. Am I wrong for not wanting another baby shower?

Nope! I didn't have a shower didn't want the headaches and let downs of people not buying stuff etc

Nothing wrong with that . If you feel you have everything you need then there is no need to have another one especially if you're afraid there will be family drama .

This is my 2nd pregnancy and will not be having another shower. I kept most of the stuff from my son and I'm just not into showers.

Of course it's okay not to want a shower. If I could take back time I wouldn't have a shower either. Just enjoy your pregnancy and keep it stress free!

I don't think it's wrong at all. I really don't even want to have a shower (and I'm a FTM). My husband and I plan on buying everything we need.

Nothing wrong with not wanting another one. We didn't have one for our first, not having one with our second. They will be 9 years apart so we had to start completely over because we had nothing from our first but a baby shower didn't seem necessary for either.
