Makena Hydroxyprogesterone... rant

What a nightmare this has been! For the past month, almost everyday, I have been on the phone with the drug company, insurance co, and specialty pharmacy to get this medicine approved and shipped. Something, professionals say, is shown to help prevent preterm labor in women who have had a preterm birth before.(mine happened at 23w, that was three years ago. I'm now 16w with a boy) Also, used to cost much less then what it does now that it is FDA approved. We are days away from when my shots are supposed to begin and I am fighting to get it approved and sent asap. The stress of this all has been tremendous. No one seems to be communicating properly. Which boggles my mind with all the ways to connect these days. I am High risk and am supposed to be "relaxing and taking it easy"; these people are driving me to my wits end. I keep pushing the severity of the situation and hope it gets though to someone. Fingers crossed it makes it asap. Why the eff do I pay for private insurance if your not going to help and take an interest in my care, since I pay you on time every month!?! This medicine helps people!!!!Ugh, I could spit nails.

Any others had to go thru such a difficult time getting this? Or easy time?
