Heavy period

M 21 yrs, anf i have normally heavy bleeding with big clots. Huge ones. And excessive cramps.In my last two periods, i hv passed like 5 big clots each cycle, with flooding of pads, the pads used has increased too. There was profuse bleeding n i bled for more days than my usual 5 days. I also get spotting in between my period for almost a week. And i experience cramps prior to my period, starting 1 week earlier. Is it normal to get this much heavy bleeding in my age group?
