Early?

Question

My mom has had all her babies early, can that mean mine will be early too? I have a feeling he will be since he's already dropped & ive been feeling a lot of pains in my pelvis.

My mom had me at 27w. My doc said her pregnancy is not genetic, lol, and I can have a completly different situation.

Not necessarily.   My first was 38 weeks but my second I had to be induced (with just water breakage) for her to be born at 40 weeks because I could barely walk.   She was being stubborn.

I was born at 28 weeks, my husband was born at 34 weeks... So I asked my dr if our boy would also be early!?! He said it has absolutely nothing to do with mom & dad!

With my first son I dropped at 29 weeks and he was not born till 41. With current baby he dropped at 28 weeks and is still tucked in at 33 weeks 5 days. My mom was late 2 weeks with me and early 6 weeks with my brother.  Don't think how long our mama's carried is all to much to do with us. J may be wrong there though. Not sure

It could mean you can have your baby early but it also means you can have your baby late. Every women is different. That's what my doctor says.

Thanks everyone! I was sure just cuz she had all hers early, didn't mean I would, but being a FTM, just curious(: I'm just hoping my baby boy comes soon! I'll be 37 weeks in 2 days💙
