What should he do?

She doesn't want to be with him right now and she is pregnant with his baby. She doesn't know if she will ever want to be with him as of right now and says she needs time. She thinks being apart is what she needs to see if it will work and he has been wanting time together to make it work. Does he wait patiently even more and hope for the best or should he move on with his life knowing that it will never work because she has lost interest.
