I'm being induced on Wednesday, I am in a relationship with my son's father.. however our relationship is on the rocks, he constantly blows me off for his friends, doesn't work, has only bought his son two packs of diapers, a sleeper, and split the cost of a pack of bottles with me... I'm strongly considering giving our son my last name until he proves that he's going grow up and take care of his responsibility. But, since we're together he will be there for his birth and will obviously be signing the birth certificate.. if he sings the birth certoficate do I have to give our son his last name or can I still give him mine?
