Am I ok to cut off my son tags?

I have at least 20 in my armpits.

My doctor thinks the is no medical reason to remove them, they aren't harmful but it still makes shaving difficult. I have a rainforest going on....

If it can be safe had anyone done it and how so?

You can use scissors but if you don't want to you can also tie string around it really tight and after a few days they will fall off. It takes longer but is a lot less scary. All the string does is cut off blood flow to the tag.

I had a little one under my arm so I went to the doctor to get it removed he literally just cut it off with scissors and put a bandaid on 😂 I'd say it's pretty safe just make sure the scissors are sterilised

Skin tags have nerve endings so it will be painful. Tell your doctor your clothes are rubbing them and they get irritated/swollen, they will probably remove them. They usually won't help you if they are just visually bothering you.

I've seen a family member cut them off with scissors to cut hair! They are thinner scissors & not so bulky!

You can go to a dermatologist and they'll remove them. If you just cut them off you might have scarring.
