Is labor close??

Question

100% effaced 1cm dilated baby at 0 station. Someone tell me labor is just days away!? I'm 37 weeks and I'm huge baby measures 2 weeks ahead and is very healthy.

I with my first baby was 1cm by 37 and went into labor a day after my check up but with my son who was born in May I was 1cm I got excited and I had to be induced I end up giving birth at 39 weeks and 5 days so 1cm means nothing I learned now lol

My best friend was 3 cm for almost a month before she delivered. I was 1 cm for a month with my first child and 2 cm for two weeks with my second. You never know how fast your body is preparing to deliver baby.

if your that effaced then maybe.. I am always 2-3 cm dilated for weeks but not effaced

No one knows. Could be soon, could be a while.

It's possible, but none of us can tell you. The truth is baby can pop back up and then down numerous times before labor starts. The only thing anyone can tell you with this info is that you are ripe for labor, so when it starts, you should be good to go! Distract yourself before you go nuts. The last couple weeks are the hardest. My first was born at 37 weeks and he was in the NICU for a week. Keep that baby cooking for as long as you can.
