To VBAC or not?

Are there any ladies here who have had a VBAC? I'm pregnant with my second and am feeling very conflicted  on whether or not to have an elected cesarean or try for VBAC.

The OB that I saw yesterday was telling me yesterday that she had one with her second child and if she could go back in time, she would have gone with a csection.....

I had an emergency c section with my son in 2005, the another section in 2007 with my twins. I want to do a vbac this time to but my dr refuses to even let me try. I'm gonna talk to her again about it on the 1st.

I've known several women (including my mother) who had multiple successful VBACs. I had an emergency c-section with my first, so definitely plan on trying again with this one.

I will be going for a vback. My first was born vaginally and my second was born via cs. My cs was an absolute nightmare from multiple hemmoraging to ripped stitches and a very extended recovery. So definately going vback if at all possible. Vaginal birth was less painful for me and i recovered much quicker.

I had a VBAC with my second and am currently 5w5d with #3. The reason for your first c/s matters bc if that reason is present again (ie breech baby, placenta issues etc) then it may not be a good idea. Also you have to be delivering in a hospital that has anesthesia and OB there 24 hrs/day in case you need an emergent c/s. Talk to your doctor--if you have a healthy normal pregnancy and above is all ok, go for it if your doc thinks it's ok! I was happy I did. 😊
