We have been trying to conceive for over 3 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 20. We knew from the beginning it would be difficult to have a baby. After 2 years of trying everything I could from supplements to healthy eating we decided to see the doctor about it. She then referred me to an OB who told me I had a cyst the size of a grapefruit on my right Fallopian tube. She referred me to the fertility specialist. After trying to make it go away with medication that didn't work, I had to have surgery. She was unable to rove it but drained all the fluid...and it hasn't come back yet. Then we started our first round of clomid...it did nothing :( she then put me on the highest dose of letrozal. I ovulated but no baby. The next round she added gonatropin shots to improve my chances..nothin. Finally this last round she upped my dose of the FSH gonatropin and I had 2 follicles. Got my trigger shot and waited 17 long days to test. Got a positive result!!! It does happen..it just takes time and patience :)
