So I know many people wait for the first trimester to be over before telling people that they are expecting.

I'm curious what do you say when someone asks you if you're pregnant?

Do you ignore them? How can you stop from smiling and giving it away

Miscarriage can just be really common, Up to a quarter of pregnancies. That's why people wait. It's hard to wait, but I think announcing it then losing the baby could be really tough. Especially if you're in introverted too.

It's actually rude to just ask someone if they are pregnant. I'm waiting to tell people. The only ones who know are our parents, siblings and close friends.

With our first, we told as soon as we got our BFP.
This time, I'm nervous since I've had spotting, so we have only told immediate family and a couple very close friends. After I get my bloodwork back tomorrow(5w6d,) we'll start telling more people. Thanksgiving is going to be the big reveal to extended family!

If someone asks me flat out if I'm pregnant I'm not telling them. Sorry, kind of a rude and an invasive question. I'll reveal when I'm ready. I've already told a few people. My mom, twin sister, and best friend. My in laws will find out at Christmas time when we're almost 12 weeks. Hope this helps you! Happy and healthy 9 months to you!
